Update on the Strategic Direction of Tower Hill Specialty and Tower Hill Prime Insurance Company

At Tower Hill, our mission has always been to deliver exceptional service and value to our policyholders, agents, and partners. In line with this commitment, we’re excited to announce a strategic realignment that will strengthen our operations, optimize resources, and position us for long-term success.

To achieve these goals, we will be focusing our efforts on the nine states where we currently conduct approximately 90% of our business. As part of this strategic shift, we will begin phasing out operations in Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Why This Change?

This decision was made after a thorough review of our operations and market opportunities. By refining our operational footprint, we can:

• Enhance Resource Allocation: Concentrate resources in key markets to deliver even faster, more accurate, and innovative solutions for policyholders.
• Capitalize on Market Opportunities: Invest in regions with the greatest potential for sustainable growth and tailor our offerings to meet evolving customer needs.
• Deepen Expertise: Develop a deeper understanding of specific markets and regulations, allowing us to better serve our customers and agents.

What This Means for You

For our policyholders and agents in the impacted states, please know that this transition will be managed with care. Effective 01/17/2025, we will no longer accept new business in the affected states. Should you not be able to find another market, we will allow existing quotes to be bound for the next 30 days. We are working closely with each Department of Insurance to ensure an orderly withdrawal process and will provide clear non-renewal timelines for existing policies as soon as they are finalized.

For our valued agents and customers in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas, this shift allows us to bring an even sharper focus to your needs, delivering greater innovation and service excellence.
